​​​​​​​The proposed dates for the 2024 Hawkswood Sprint are Saturday the 9th and Sunday the 10th of November.

The Event:
Hawkswood Road, approximately 20km north of Cheviot.  Allow two hours from Christchurch.  This event first ran in 2005 for the Country Gentlemens Historic Racing & Sportscar Club as a one day event. 2006 saw the event run over two days and was opened to Motorsport New Zealand competitors for the first time.
This is your only chance to race on State Highway One in Canterbury.

Saturday
The Saturday event is open to all Motorsport New Zealand competitors.

Sunday

Driver and Car Requirements:
Drivers require a Motorsport New Zealand affiliated club membership and a minimum of a Motorsport New Zealand M Grade (Clubsport) competition licence, as well as a Motorsport New Zealand Standard approved helmet and overalls.
Vehicles must have a fire extinguisher mounted to the Motorsport New Zealand Standard.
